We were given an opportunity to have a display at the “Irish Heritage Night” at the Akron Rubber Ducks.  With the help of Public Affairs, we had a wonderful location on the concourse and a great display.  The Akron Rubber Ducks were fantastic to work with and they made every effort to see we had the things we needed.  We had a sign-up sheet for those would like to be notified of future events and not only were there individuals who signed up, but we had those very interested in coming to the Family History Center.  We had one gentleman that was actually born in Ireland who was quite interested.  It was a fun evening, the Ducks won and there was fireworks afterward!
