As we start the New Year and reflect on the goals we have accomplished in 2017, let us consider Family History work as part of our New Year’s resolution. The Lord promises us, as we do our Family History Work, doors will be opened and information will become available to us. I can testify to this because I have had it happen to me many times. It doesn’t matter if your family has pioneers in the gospel, there is still work for each of us to do. This work is just as important to us, as to our ancestors, and especially to our Heavenly Father. We need to follow the direction of our leaders and make this one of our priorities for 2018 and we will feel joy. If you need help, you should have consultants in your wards/branches to help, and you may always contact the Stake Family History Center for additional help.
