We appreciate the New Philadelphia, Medina, Tallmadge wards for inviting us to their enrichment nights on emergency preparedness. We enjoyed meeting with everyone to discuss home storage, and to answer questions concerning home storage. On sale now through April 30: Hard Red Wheat (30-year shelf life) 5.5 lb can is $2.25, 6-can case is $13.50; Pinto Beans (30-year shelf life) 5.2 lb can is $4.75, 6-can case is $28.50.
We have an updated price list for this year and 80% of the items have been reduced in price. This might be a good time to look over your food storage and add to what you have or if you are starting out to buy a few items at the beginning. It has been recommended by our leaders to try to have at least 1 month to 3 month supply on hand and to try not to go into debt doing so.
