April Self-Reliance Spotlight

Stake Update

Wow, what a conference we just had! It’s great to feel the rush of revelation being poured down on us. In particular, we feel that the new approach to Ministering will help make the work of self-reliance come to life across the Stake like never before. Currently, we have eight active self-reliance groups making great progress as part of our second round across the Stake.

Principle #5 – Use Time Wisely

“Time is all the capital stock there is on the earth … If properly used, it brings that which will add to your comfort, convenience, and satisfaction. Let us consider this, and no longer sit with hands folded, wasting time.”

Brigham Young, Discourses of Brigham Young,

sel. John A. Widtsoe (1954), 214.

Invitation
