Ward Window: Wooster

submitted by Bishop Nathan Hill

The Annual Wooster Ward Talent Show was held Saturday, June 16. A wonderful brunch was served before the talent show began. Talents on display around the room included drawing, painting, needlework, quilting, and a collectible train set, as well as the cooking and baking of the food served. The talent show included young musicians playing the violin, recorder, and piano. We had magic tricks, dancing, and two young actors doing a scene from Rumplestiltskin. Musical numbers were done by a mother and daughter, husband and wife, and a whole family singing. A storyteller presented a tale of a memory from her childhood. We also had a demonstration of what is actually inside a laptop and what it all does. A demonstration of acupuncture made some of us smile and some of us cringe. We are always amazed and awed by the talents our members have and are willing to share with us all.
