Stake Update
For many, the upcoming holiday season brings great anticipation and excitement. For others, those feelings can be overshadowed by anxiety and even fear as they consider the temporal challenges that continue to beset them. Fortunately, our Savior has provided a way for his followers to overcome. One way he reaches out is through the Self-Reliance initiative. Over the past few months, the localized Devotionals have resulted in close to 100 members throughout the Stake joining one of the Self-Reliance Groups. Some groups are just beginning, and some are well on their way to finish by Christmas. Please continue to reach out to your Ward Specialist or Ward Council to learn more.
Principle #12 – Receive Temple Ordinances

• If you have a temple recommend, set a date to attend the temple.
• If you don’t have a temple recommend, meet with your bishop or branch president to discuss how you can prepare to receive your temple ordinances.
• Share what you’ve learned about temple ordinances with your family or friends.
