Stake Sunday School Presidency

img-20171018-195825797-hdr-1.jpgCliff Hoschouer, President – was born in Provo, Utah, and raised in Springville, Utah.  Studying and playing sports occupied his time through high school.  After graduating, he joined the Marine Corps Reserves and served in the Budapest Hungary Mission.  He attended Utah State University, majoring in Aerospace Engineering, but was deployed to Iraq after 9/11.  Upon returning, he met his future wife and transferred to The Ohio State University to be with her while she started her Ph.D.  Several years, three kids later (two boys and one girl) and with graduate studies finished for Cliff and Emily they moved to Medina, Ohio, where their youngest daughter was born.

IMG_0163Jerry Parsons, First Counselor – has four children, six grandchildren, and married his high school sweetheart (Kaye). He recently retired after 31 years at Briar Hill Stone Company in Glenmont, Ohio. He was baptized in 1974 and has had many different callings, including stake high councilor and bishop,  his favorite being scoutmaster back in 1994. He hopes to someday learn to master a cellphone.

img_1142-e1562285664580.jpgJason Talley, Second Counselor – He grew up in Hudson, Ohio, and currently lives in Stow with his wife and three children. He received an undergraduate degree from Utah Valley University and a law degree from the University of Akron. With the exception of attending school in Utah, he has lived most of his life within the Akron Stake boundaries. Brother Talley says,  “I am addicted to chocolate peanut butter ice cream. I enjoy family history work, camping, hiking, skateboarding, and lazy summer days with my family.”
