Family History Fair
We all love to help others, and if they happen to be our own family, all the better. But, what about our ancestors on the other side? Of course, we also include them, but how? Some of our ancestors may be from Italy or some from Hungary. How do we help them? I have ancestors in this country, but they lived in the 1700s. What can I find about them? Even if you tell me where to look, do I have the computer skills to know how? And how does DNA fit into all of this, should I be looking into that? We would all love to help, but how? The answers to these questions and many more are at the Family History Fair at the Stake Center sponsored by the Akron Ohio Family History Center on October 12, 2019. Through the course of the day, dozens of classes will be taught by some of the best genealogical experts in the area and will be tackling these questions in 50 minutes classes offered from 9:00 to 3:00, with a one hour break for a free lunch to recharge us for more. In the afternoon, some hands-on and one-on-one help will also be offered.
Come learn how to make a difference in some one’s life…forever.
