
The New Philadelphia Ward Bishopric was reorganized on November 11, 2018. Bishop Tim McKnight was serving as the elders quorum instructor prior to his call but has served in three past bishoprics. He served a full-time mission to Vienna, Austria, and his wife, Karen, was a missionary in the Philippines. They have five adult children and four granddaughters. Bishop McKnight is a board-certified family physician at Trinity Hospital Twin City. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1985 with a degree in Human Nutrition and completed Ph.D. coursework in Human Nutrition before beginning medical school at Ohio State University in 1993.
Brother Glenn Vogel was born in New Philadelphia and graduated from New Philadelphia High School. He converted to the church and was baptized in 1975. He has been married to his wife Elaine for 46 years, and they were sealed in the Washington D.C. Temple. They have four children (two living and two deceased) and six grandchildren. Brother Vogel retired after 36 years as an Aerospace Inspector with The Timken Company and is a U.S. Air Force veteran. He has served previously as elders quorum and Sunday School presidents, ward clerk, branch president as well as a counselor to three branch presidents, ward executive secretary, ward mission leader, stake high councilor and Sunday School president.
Brother Paulo Morris and his wife Kathy live in Dover Ohio. He met his wife Kathy in 1972 in the military while in Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia. He was sealed to his wife in the Los Angeles Temple on April 16, 1977. They have five children and 14 grandchildren. He has previously served as Cub Scout den leader, seminary teacher, missionary meal coordinator.
